I’m Léar Fortin — a jeweler, accredited gemologist, and specialized macro-photographer. My work lives at the crossroads of craftsmanship, science, and storytelling. Whether it’s sourcing a rare stone in Bangkok, designing a bespoke piece for a client in Montréal, or creating striking imagery for jewelers and gem labs, my focus is always the same: to let the natural beauty of each gem shine through.

My Journey

I began my path with a deep curiosity for gemstones — their origins, colors, and the stories they carry. That passion grew into years of hands-on experience at the bench, gemological training at AIGS in Bangkok, and direct relationships with local markets and cutters. Over time, I built a practice that combines my skills as a gemologist, jeweler, and photographer into one cohesive vision: bringing gems to life, from mine to masterpiece.
